Girl's Day!

Well, the stars aligned last Saturday so that my BFF and I could have a Girls Day without the husbands or the kiddos.  The husbands did some hiking while the kids went to each visit grandparents. I don't think we have had a Girls Day since before either of us had kids- over 4 year ago. You see, our husbands are BFFs too and all of our four kids (a boy and a girl each, so far ;) ) are each a year apart so we do most everything together with everyone. Which is awesome, don't get me wrong. I love these people and their kids as if they were my own, but it sure felt good to break away for just some BFF time.

We started with pedicures at Aqua Nails and Spa. Pedis are sooo relaxing, I wish I could get one every week! I was about 3 years overdue for one, so it was great.

However, things got a little rocky when Cassie broke her massage chair- just kidding, it was already broken :)

So we scooted down and all was right with the world again

I would show you the after picture of our super cute toes, but I am not ready to share my feet with the world yet :)
Just know that our toes now have a lot of glitter on them...

We perused the mall and headed over the see Bad Moms- of course.

Don't forget to find your happy place on November 4th....

Midday on a Saturday was the time to head to the movies, we were 2 of the 10 people in the theater. We ended up sharing some popcorn, but I didn't really want to share. Also, there may or may not have been singing and dancing to the Backstreet Boys in the bathroom.....only us and the little boy waiting for his mom will ever know.

Movie theater selfie!

After the movie, we made a trip to Party City to check out items for Chloe's upcoming 2nd birthday and went off to pick up the kiddos. We made it back to 'Landon's House' as Luke affectionately calls it and went swimming with everyone.

Isn't this the cutest little swimsuit on the cutest little curly-haired 1-year-old!

Chloe LOVES to swim

Living the good life...

These 2 boys are the best of friends and it is just so sweet. Can't wait to watch them grow up together, especially now that they will be attending the same school, just 1 year apart.

My Little Mermaid

This Girl is so full of silly ideas and funny faces...

And because we didn't get enough outside time,we finished the night off in the backyard. These 2 are just over a year apart and I am pretty sure they will get married down the road... so sweet.

Of course, playing a little catch, while the little boys play chase. A good day was had by all.
