VETTA

I am sure we all know the feeling of having a closet packed with clothes and still having "nothing to wear."  I find myself saying that and feeling ridiculous because I have too many clothes and I doubt I am the only one. Thank goodness for moving because I was able to give 2 bags full of clothes away to Goodwill. Yet, I still find myself saying that I have "nothing to wear." It is almost overwhelming to decide in outfits and so many items that don't go with others.

VETTA to the rescue. VETTA was created by Vanessa vanZyl and Cara Bartlett (a dear family friend of mine whom I grew up with) with every woman in mind. They created go-to items for your closet that will love to put on and feel great in, too. The Capsule Collection has 5 fabulous pieces that can be mixed and matched into 30 unique outfits. I never thought 5 pieces could create so many options and I love that the clothing is made in the USA ( in NYC) and from eco-friendly fabrics.

Earlier this year, Cara and Vanessa started a Kickstarter campaign for VETTA and reached their fundraising goal in 5 days! They have also been featured on The Refined Woman, Luxury Travel Magazine ( think of how easy packing for trips would be with 5 pieces!), Factory 45 and most recently on Vogue.com

These women are trailblazers. You MUST check out their clothing, you won't be disappointed. And when you are getting ready for work, a night out with the girls, or a date with your special someone and you can get dressed in minutes.....you can thank me :)

Friday Favorites

This is my very first FRIDAY FAVORITES post, hopefully I can make it every week or maybe at least twice a month. Hope everyone has a great weekend.  I will spending it with my husband's side of the family and I am stoked to see everyone and watch the little kids enjoy some cousin time.

This is what I am loving right now:

1. That I just found these magnets packed in a box from our move. Luke on the left, Chloe on the right. Man, baths in the sink seem SOOOO long ago! Cutie patooties!

2. My Google Project Fi wireless service. Because I used less data then I am scheduled to pay (1GB), I actually got money back! Thank You wifi! Not bad to have a brand new phone, the Nexus 5X, unlimted calls, texts and 1GB of data and pay less then $35 (and that includes the price of the phone in the monthly payment!) HINT- the phone is cheaper if you do a 2-year option payment plan. My plan is $30 ($20 for the call and text service and $10 per GB) plus taxes and the cost of the phone which is roughly $8. I used less than a Gig of data, so my bill was under $5 for my data, hence a total bill under $35! Sweetness!

3. This girl is going to be 2 next month! How is that even possible?? This picture was taken a year ago, sheesh where does the time go. She is sitting a rocking chair that belonged to my grandma when she was a little girl, love that! Stay tuned for more posts about this sweet, sassy girl's first 2 years.

4. Old Navy ON the Inside. Who doesn't love Old Navy. The clothes are super cute and affordable, win-win! They are are looking for Insiders to provide their opinions and thoughts to make Old Navy even better! As an Insider, you will also get sneak peeks and influence new products, get to participate in monthly sweepstakes and more! Check it out!

5. This sippy cup from Nuby. It has taken a loooong time, too long really, to get Chloe off of bottles.

Here she is on the 4th of July with her bottle! This was the best picture I got of both of them that day. sigh.

She drinks from a regular cup like a Champ, but she always loved the comfort of having her milk in a bottle. And of course, as my baby, I let her. We had Luke off bottles by his first birthday, but there was something about her. Maybe because we saw her use straw cups with ease, and drink from regular cups with no problem that we let her still drink her milk out of a bottle. Well, I saw this post that encouraged me to find a new option for Chloe and get rid of the bottles. I have used a few different Nuby products before, but the 3 Stage Trainer Sippy Cup finally allowed us to ditch the bottles. It comes with 2 different 'no-spill' spouts to grow with your child, and the handles can be removed. I got mine at Target, in pink of course :)

--Those of you with little ones...if you need any bottles, Come on over. We have tons, lol.
