Cousins Are Our First Friends

We have all seen the Facebook meme that says Cousins Are Our First Friends. That is so true for my kiddos. Aside from our best friends and their kids, the cousins are the only other kids Luke and Chloe are around (aside from Luke starting preschool a few months ago). It is fascinating to me that Luke is only 7 months other than  cousin Addie and Chloe is just 7 months younger than cousin Emmy. And, we love little Caelum, since Luke was the only boy with 4 girl cousins. And we love Naomi, the oldest and the one Luke can look up to.  Both sets of cousins live 4-5 hours away, but we recently got to visit with both families!

PS. Tomorrow is our 9th wedding anniversary, wahoo!!!

Disney on Ice

On Saturday, we went to Disney on Ice. This particular show had the characters from Cars, The Little Mermaid, Toy Story 3 and Frozen- basically my kids' favorite Disney movies! We kept it a surprise that they were going, so they were super excited. Plus my mom,  sister, brother-in-law and my niece were all going too! So Fun!

Our View.

These three are just so cute together.

And these girls are only 7 months apart, can't wait to watch them grow up together.

Mickey and the Gang.

The show started off with Toy Story  ( if you ask me, the Toy Story portion was too long.) The army men were pretty cool to watch and it was fun seeing some of our Toy Story faves.

Up next was The Little Mermaid. We haven't watched that movie yet as a family, but the kids know of Ariel- who happens to be my niece's favorite!

Under the Sea!

After intermission, it was Cars! The cars were really neat to watch on the ice, I wish this part would have been longer.

And for the Finale, Frozen of course!

 Elsa!

The cold never bothered me anyway...

Olaf!

Only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart.

Mickey and the Gang joined the Frozen cast for one last song.

It was a great show, a little long (2 hours) but we loved all of the songs and the characters.
